Armstrong & Associates’ Evaluation:

PBB was acquired by Livingston International and integrated to Livingston the fall of 2006. PBB had good representation in China, IMC operations (Clarke) in North America and expanded customs brokerage. Livingston is the largest U.S./Canada customs broker. The combined operations emphasize U.S./Canadian trade – the largest trade lane in the world at a time when U.S. security measures have made border crossings much more complex. Livingston provides companies in North America with a broad spectrum of customs brokerage, consulting, integrated logistics, event logistics and managed services including regulatory compliance, customs and tax consulting, North American transportation, international freight forwarding, vehicle transportation, warehousing arrangements, specialized customs clearance, corporate travel services, imported vehicle registration and administration and document management services. Livingston handles 3.2 million import/export shipments a year and is located at over 125 key border crossings, seaports, airports and other strategic locations across the United States and Canada.
